Crafted by the Kyoto Distillery, Ki No Bi is a premium Japanese dry gin that embodies the spirit and refinement of Kyoto. Recognized globally, it was ranked second in the “Top Trending” gin category of the Annual Brands Report published by the UK’s Drinks International in January 2019. It has also earned accolades in numerous international competitions, cementing its reputation as a world-class spirit.

Unlike conventional gins, which distill all botanicals together, Ki No Bi employs a distinctive method. Its botanicals are carefully selected and categorized into six flavor “elements” based on their characteristics:

• Base: Juniper berry, orris root, red pine
• Citrus: Lemon, yuzu
• Tea: Gyokuro (premium green tea)
• Spice: Ginger
• Fruity & Floral: Red shiso, Bamboo leaf
• Herbal: Japanese pepper (sansho), Kinome (young sansho leaves)

Each group is distilled separately, then blended with a rice spirit base. The water used is soft, pristine spring water from Fushimi—renowned for its purity and subtlety.

Nose: Bright yuzu aromas lead, followed by fruity lemon and a mist-like hint of sansho that evokes a bamboo grove.

Palate: Juniper integrates seamlessly with Japanese flavors, revealing spicy ginger and a delicate touch of gyokuro tea.

Finish: Dry, yet layered with citrus zest and the tingling spice of sansho.
