This Glenrothes was matured for 22 years in hogshead casks before being bottled as part of bottler Cadenhead’s Small Batch Cask Strength range. The taste is pleasantly pungent and fresh, as well as citrusy and fruity. A perfect summer whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Eucalyptus, orange zest, peach peel, green olive.

Taste: Lime zest, mango, lychee, apricot with molasses and buttered popcorn.

Finish: Fruity, but with notes of molasses and soft flint (flint is a mineral note found in dry, austere white wines).
