Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Isle of Jura Distillery, located on the remote island of Jura in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides.

The distillery, originally founded in 1810 and revived in the 1960s, is central to the island community, where fewer than 300 residents live alongside thousands of wild deer. Jura whiskies are known for their approachable style, often lighter and more delicate than neighbouring Islay malts, yet still shaped by the island’s rugged environment.

Jura 12 Year Old forms part of the distillery’s aged range, introduced during the brand’s relaunch in 2018. It is crafted in Jura’s exceptionally tall stills, which create a lighter spirit, and matured for over a decade in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. To add further depth, the whisky undergoes a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, lending richness and complexity.
