Springbank
Springbank is a Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky produced at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Established in 1828, the distillery is known for maintaining a traditional, largely manual production process, including on-site malting and a distinctive partial triple distillation method. As a single malt, it represents one of the few remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region.
The range includes multiple styles such as Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn, each reflecting different production approaches. Compared to other Scotch regions, Springbank is often positioned as more complex and variable in character. Its traditional production methods and regional identity define its role within the Campbeltown category.
