Introduced in 1976, Tsuru is Nikka’s highest-grade blended whisky, a testament to the legacy of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky. Back in 1976, Initially, Tsuru was presented in a beautifully crafted ceramic bottle adorned with bamboo and crane motifs, symbolizing elegance and tradition. Nikka Tsuru was born from this passion, blending 15 to 20-year-old malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries with carefully selected grain whisky.
